Docked UPDATE !!!!
Today's update brings several popular community-requested features to Docked, such as support for Logitech's Heavy Equipment Bundle, joystick support, and Free Play Mode (v1)!
Free Play Mode (v1):
Introducing v1 of Free Play Mode! The plan for this much-requested mode is to develop it in stages so we can collect feedback and make adjustments with each iteration we release. This new gamemode provides a dedicated environment for operators looking to fulfill large-scale orders, allowing them to manage cargo without the constraints of mission objectives or time pressure. Free Play is designed for operators to refine their skills, explore the port at their own pace, and engage with the various machinery in a sandbox setting.
Key elements of Free Play Mode (v1):
Accessible from the start, no unlock required.
Operators have access to a new handheld tablet to manage and monitor the cargo plan in real time. No more loading in and out of menus!
Operators fulfill the cargo plan by loading and unloading containers between the ship, the yard, and the train.
Operators have access to the STS Crane, Reach Stacker, Straddle Carrier, Terminal Tractor, and RTG Crane.
Operators can save mid-way through a mission to continue their work from where they left off.
Operators can change time and weather through the new handheld tablet.
Operators can focus strictly on machinery operations and ignore economic constraints.
We look forward to reading your feedback as we continue to improve and expand Free Play Mode.
Patch Notes:
New Feature:
Added Free Play Mode (v1)
Added third-person camera controls for the RTG Crane to provide operators with more visibility during operations.

Improved rain visualization effects.
Bugs:
Fixed the MHC Crane ladder interaction on the top level to ensure consistent access.
Fixed a crash on the “End Day Checklist” screen triggered by rapid operator input when opening the menu.
Known Issues:
Operators may notice the STS and RMG cranes moving by themselves when resuming a Free Play session .
Trailers may become decoupled from the Terminal Tractor after reloading in Free Play mode.
Note: operators with customized steering wheel controls should reset their input settings to default before continuing play in order to prevent gameplay issues after the control logic updates.
You can expect further updates to the yard in the near future.
Thank you for your continued support,
— Team Docked
Hello operators,
Today's update introduces a new quality-of-life feature and several bug fixes. We are also excited to give you a first look at our upcoming freeplay mode.
First order of business: we heard your feedback regarding minigames, and while we believe they add an interesting element to Docked, we also want to ensure that everyone can enjoy the game in their own way. As such, minigames are now optional. This means players can now choose to skip minigames or complete them to earn additional rewards.
Next up, freeplay mode. We will be introducing it in stages, with V1 arriving in about a month. This should allow all of you to provide early feedback and help us make adjustments as we continue to implement the new mode. We will continue to improve freeplay mode through multiple iterations based on feedback from Steam Discussions and the subreddit.
What will be in V1 of freeplay mode?
Freeplay mode will be available right from the start, with no need to complete the campaign to unlock it. In this mode, players will receive a cargo plan that serves as a mission hub, allowing them to seamlessly accept orders without leaving the port. What does this mean for gameplay?
Missions will be longer than those in the campaign
Missions will involve loading and unloading containers between the ship and the yard.
Players can choose any of the machinery to use for these tasks.
Players can save mid-way through a mission to be able to continue their work from where they left off.
We are planning more for future versions, including AI workers for the port who will assist in completing bigger orders.
As always, we love hearing from you about all things Docked, so keep it coming!
